Who’s in control of your life?
Apr 19, 2021
Who’s in control of your life? You or the 4yr old version of you? Excuse me? You might be thinking. If you’re offended. Stay with me. This is exactly for you.
Now for those of you that don’t know me, I’m not here to intentionally make anyone feel bad. Despite what it may FEEL like. I’m trying to show you what’s blocking you. Some of you might not even realize that there is something blocking you. And if you’re thinking, “I don’t have anything blocking me” That’s it right there. Any resistance you feel in your life is your doorway to freedom, but only if you WILLINGLY step through.
Have you ever seen someone else do something that is so irrational it makes you cringe? We all have been that irrational person and it’s part of the human experience. When we’re little, just trying to figure out the world we don’t have the mental skills to comprehend the world yet.
So imagine a situation where as a little kid you get yelled at for running around and being a kid and laughing too loudly. You’re fully enjoying the moment when your dad screams at you to stop making so much noise, and you feel a shock in your chest, you get so startled. You don’t know what just happened to him, in your mind, having fun is a really bad thing to do, because you get yelled at and scared really badly. It’s made an imprint in your mind. Years later you find yourself unable to be the real you and let your guard down and feel free to be all of you. You feel like everything needs to be perfect, you need to appear calm and in control at all times. Ever wonder where that came from?
We all have experiences like this from our pasts. Our unresolved misinterpretations from our childhood are in our minds.
>>It’s the subconscious response that keeps you from acting.<<
You decided when you were four that it was going to keep you safe, but at some point if you don’t examine your beliefs, you soon become a prisoner. It doesn’t have to be that way. You can shift those beliefs and upgrade them to better, more productive ones.
>>The first step is realizing that you can<<
